Star Fleet Battles, Star Trek War Game, Task Force Games, 1983

Have you ever wanted to command a starship? Perhaps you can see yourself as Captain Kirk fighting against a wily Klingon battle cruiser. That's the premise of this role playing strategy game by Task Force Games. Based on the Star Trek Technical Reference and other sources, this game provides rules to engage one or more craft per player in terrific space battles with Federation, Klingon, Romulan and other forces.

This set has an amazing amount of material included, and it looks like it's never been played. All the spaceship counters are still on their cardboard sheets. There's also a small expansion pack included.

The outer box has taken some wear over the years. It's a bit bowed and worn. The rule book is slightly curled from being inside. However, everything is in excellent, playable condition.

I remember playing this "back in the day". Pretty cool stuff. I may have to find my old set and start a game.
