Lead Soldier - Barclay, Pirate, B154 714, from 1935

This vintage lead soldier was manufactured by Barclay in 1935. It's shows a Pirate walking with his cutlass. Barclay made many different lead people other than soldiers, and this is one example.

As you can see in the photos, he's not in the best condition, but has a lot of character. Most of his paint is gone. Even in this state, you can almost feel the menace as he advances with his bare blade.

Nice, old lead figure, ready to display or restore.
