This is really cool. It is camera ready comic book art from 1986. It's the title page for Firestorm number 22. Artists working on the book include Gerry & Carla Conway as the writers, Pat Broderick as Guest Artist, Sal Trapami as Artist/Embellisher, John Costanza as Letterer and Carl Gafford as Colorist (although this page is black and white).

It is mounted in a glass "frame" for hanging, although we don't know the archival properties of the frame. To be safe, I'd recommend adding at least a layer of acid free paper behind the art. There is some slight yellowing of the paper, but this actually gives a unique insight into the process of making the book. Because of the contrast, you can see where they've used whiteout to adjust the flames on Firehawk's hands and some of the lettering. There's even a piece of paper that's been overlaid with the Firestorm fiery logo. There are also many notes in blue pencil (which would have been invisible to the camera).

Very nice piece of art to display, which also provides an interesting glimpse into comic book production.
