Hull Mirror Brown Drip Chicken Casserole, circa 1968

Hull originally issues this type of "Oven Pruf" casserole in 1968. It's a very decorative and functional piece. The brown drip finish around the edge of the bottom portion is intended to look like a straw nest, and does a good job of it. There is a very small defect under the point of the beak where the glaze didn't cover it completely. As you can see in teh photos, it's very hard to see. Otherwise the piece is in amazing condition.
