In the late 1800s, Palmer Cox enthralled the world with his tales of "Brownies". From the introduction: "Brownies, like fairies and goblins, are imaginary little sprites, who are supposed to delight in harmless pranks and helpful deeds. They work and sport while weary households sleep, and never allow themselves to be seen by mortal eyes." Such was the reach and love of these little creatures, many products and publications "borrowed" from them, some with permission, such as the Kodak Brownie camera.

This is an original 1890 edition of Cox's "Another Brownie Book", his second. It is filled with stories of the adventures of these lovable imps. The stories are in the form of rhyming verse. Fun for all ages!

As you can see in the photos, the book looks good, but it is a bit rough. It's holding together, but it could use some TLC. The spine cover is detached and the cover and pages are all somewhat discolored and worn. Still it appears to all be here, and you can enjoy it without guilt.
