According to Waits, GEM only made the Flying Wing or Bullet Tip style razor in 1947 and 1948. They came out with the Featherweights shortly after, so I guess they were looking to cut costs. This is a very nice razor. It is an attractive and efficient beauty. In a survey of our users, many prefer the bullet tip to other single edge razors, and no one can deny it's unique look. Uses standard single edge razor blades, which are available in a variety of brands.

As you can see in the photos, it looks very good. It's extremely shiney overall, and operates perfectly. There are a few small areas of discoloration. These could likely be removed by something more than our standard "light clean and sterilize" process. You have to look pretty close to find anything wrong with it.

Many folks say you can't beat a single edge razor for a close shave. This one is an excellent razor for use or display.
