Very nice metal, hand cranked, vintage butter churn produced by SMP, called the Triumph. Related patents were issued in 1891. we think this one is from right around 1900. The wooden dashers inside seem perfect. Everything looks like it would still work, although we haven't checked it for leaks. The drain is plugged, but looks like it would hold. As you can see in the photos, one handle is missing, and it has some dings and rust, but it still has a cool look.
Very unusual design of churn to display, collect, or perhaps even use.
