Grandma Moses Paintings, Portfolio of Eight Prints, 1961

This is a collection titled, "Grandma Moses, A portfolio of Eight Paintings, with an Appreciation by John Canaday", Published by Art In America in 1961. There are eight beautifully reproduced paintings printed on large, high quality paper, supplied loose in a cloth covered binder, with the appreciation and biographical notes supplied on a double sized loose sheet. The box isn't perfect, but it's very good, and it's done the job of protecting the contents very well. The cloth binder, prints and notes are all nearly perfect. A few of the prints do have some slight yellowing around the very edges. This isn't noticeable unless you're looking for faults (as we were). It won't show at all if you frame the prints. We've had a few of these sets now, and in terms of condition, this is one of best so far.

The printing is very high quality. We've included some extreme closeups to show how tight the dot patterns are in the screen prints. You can clearly see the texture of the canvas. Paintings included are...
