Razorette Travel Safety Razor with Partial Case, about 1938

The Razorette is a fairly unique design for a travel safety razor. It is tiny! The head measures about 1 inch by a half inch. It's so small, the razor blade forms part of the structure of the shaver. Rather than having a two piece head as would be seen in a full size Gillette Tech type razor, the blade rests on the handle as it's screwed into the head.

There is half of the egg-shaped carry case included. The previous owner says he had both halves. If he finds it, we'll update the listing.

Unless you can find a source for new blades, we don't recommend this vintage razor for shaving. We don't know the history of the included blade.
