This vintage Schick Injector razor is a type K1 Lady Eversharp. Although the reference materials say this type was produced from 1962-68, the instruction slip seems to indicate it was made in 1970. While it was originally designed as a lady's razor, the long handle, cool styling, and Hydro-Magic lever of the K1 make it popular with everyone. Hydro-Magic was a feature of Schick razors from the late 1950s into the late 1960s. By opening the lever under the head, you can clean the razor without removing the blade. Takes standard Schick style blades, which are available in multiple brands from a variety of stores and online sources.
I wish I could call this razor New Old Stock, but it has been opened, and the blade cartridge is missing. That said, it is perfect in every way I can see. It even still has the "shipping blade" installed! The worst thing I can say for it is, there's a little residue on the case where there's been a sticker. The gold plate on the head shines like jewelry. The Hydro Magic lever operates perfectly.
Overall, a terrific razor to use or display.
