The Slim is the little brother to the more famous Fat Boy safety razor. The Slim takes a standard double edged blade. The numbered dial adjusts the angle of the blade. Date code of H1 indicates it was manufactured in 1962. If you like the adjustments of the Fat Boy, but don't like the wide, heavy handle, this is the razor for you.
Operates perfectly. This is an excellent example of a Slim. As you can see in the photos, under bright lights and high magnification, the black painted numbers are in mint condition. The razor head has a few blemishes that are visible. It could benefit from something more than our standard "light clean and sterilize" process. The adjustment dial works smoothly and clicks at each setting as it should. The case is also very good. There is some light scuffing on the clear plastic, but it is still very clear and displays nicely. The gold foil under the razor is perfect, unlike many example we see. You'll need to purchase new Gillette style blades if you intend to shave with the razor. These can be found in a variety of brands in stores and online.
Very nice razor to use or display.
