GEM G-Bar Single Edge Razor from 1958

This is a very good example of a GEM "G-Bar" type single edge safety razor. It was made sometime around 1958. Many people swear by single edge razors, and the blades are still readily available. The G-Bar is often mentioned as a good starter or "go to" razor. The good weight and unique handle design contribute to the great look and function of this classic vintage safety razor. 

As you can see in the photos, it's hard to find many faults in this razor to call out. In your hand, it looks very nice. There are a few light scratches on the head, but they aren't as apparanet as they appear in the pictures. We've run it through our "light clean and sterilize" process, so it's ready to go. 

Very nice razor to use or display.
