This is a vintage type G8 Schick Injector Razor. This one was produced about 1952. As old as it is, it still uses the standard injector blades you can buy in the drugstore today! There are also a number of compatible blade brands still in production.
This is a very attractive razor. It marks a transition from the old style G razors (that were almost unchanged from the prewar E types of the 1930s) to the more modern I type to come. The handle is more square than other Gs, and has a ribbed texture for a sure grip.
As you can see in the photos, this razor is in excellent condition. There may be a slight scratch or two on the head, but it looks perfect in your hand. The light tan handle has some nice darker marbling. Overall, this razor looks great and should work great!
Many people say that shaving with an injector is "almost cheating". They feel it's so much easier to get a close shave than with other types of razors.
