Space Tank Friction Tin Toy - Made in Japan - 1960

This is a cool looking little toy. It's a friction powered "Space Tank" tin toy. It was made in Japan. Possibly in the 1950s, but I think more like 1960s. If there's a maker mark on it, I can't find it. 6" x 2 1/2" counting the barrel. Wonderful colors in the tin lithography.

There's a bit of rust in spots. There is something on the white plate behind the gun that's faded away. The top of the antenna is bent. However, the friction drive works, and it just looks cool. 

Nice tin toy for that special little spot on your shelf.
