Magilla Gorilla Hand Puppet, Hanna Barbera, 1960s

As Mr. Peebles used to say, "We've got a gorilla for sale!" Magilla Gorilla was a terrific Hanna Barbera carton that ran from 1964 to 1967. This is a really cool hand puppet depicting the title character.

As you can see in the photos, Magilla is just about perfect. There is one small scuff or mark on the back of his head, but otherwise, we can't really find anything to point out. He displays very well on a doll stand, or (as we did) a mannikin hand.

A "handy" little prop to bring back fond memories of Saturday mornings past.
