St Clement Majolica Duck Decanter or Pitcher, circa 1891

This is a wonderful majolica pitcher or decanter made by St Clement of France just before the turn of the century. It's in the shape of a mallard duck. It stands 12 7/8 inches tall. The colors are stunning. Amazing looking piece. There is a small chip at the base, and another smaller one in the cattail handle, but you have to look pretty hard to find them. We've taken closeups of these issues, and of both sides so you can determine the impact for yourself. There's no crazing or other damage. It's in pretty incredible shape for the age.
