Salt Glaze Mixing Bowl with Advertising from Reading MN in 1920s

This wonderful vintage salt glazed mixing bowl was made in the 1920s. The cobalt blue stripes and art deco Greek key design in the sides gives it wonderful character. Inside, it's marked "It pays to mix with the Reading Merc. Co. Reading Minn."

As you can see in the photos, there are a couple of stress cracks in the glazing, but it's never been broken or repaired. Overall, very good condition for the age and materials. Excellent addition to your salt glaze or advertising collection.
