Issued between 1951 and 1954, this coin commemorates two prominent black Americans, Booker T Washington and George Washington Carver. This example 50 cent piece is marked UNC (uncirculated). There are a couple of small marks in the field of the reverse that prevent it from rating higher. All details are sharp and the coin has a brilliant luster.
