Huge Machine Weaving Shuttle with Spool from 1950s

This vintage "bullet type" weaving shuttle is the largest we've ever seen. It's about 24 inches long! It's in excellent condition, with a spool mounted, and all kinds of cool details with the brushes, brass end caps, and other metal parts. It's marked "Southern" on the bottom. Made of some hard wood, perhaps oak. Very nice.
