These American Indian relics are from east Tennessee and southwest Virginia. They are part of the lifelong collection of Katherine Johnson. It includes arrowheads, scrapers and knives. There are 17 points in a padded display case with a glass lid. Some of the items include notations from the collection, but we don't have the documentation of the meanings. It would be great fun to research all the types, materials and ages of these pieces.
We've included photos of each point. I apologize for the focus on some. While the photos make them look the same size, they vary from 3 inches for the longest to 0.75 inches for the smallest. You can see the relative sizes in the main photo.
Very nice starter collection or gift. Some very interesting pieces in there.
