Sargent VBM No 3415 Jack Plane, about 1920

This antique wood plane is a Sargent jack plane, marked Sargent V-B-M No. 3415 on the end. Metal parts are a bit rusty, and the paint is flaking some. Wood parts have a nice looking patina. Looks like it could still be used, or makes a nice display piece. This item looks like a slightly older design than the 1920 model we compared it against.
