Produced in the late 1800s and early 1900s, this item was primarily used to provide food for persons who could not chew. Also, it was a common belief that there were medicinal powers in beef juice. The cooked meat was placed inside, the crank was turned, and the juice extracted. This antique Meat Juice Press was produced by the Landers, Frary and Clark company to answer that need. Unusual looking item. If you happen to need it to work, everything is here. It would just need a cleaning.
