Oconee Co South Carolina Hunting License Badge with Ducks 1940

This is an antique hunting license from Oconee County in South Carolina. It was issued in 1939 (marked that it expires in June 1940). It's in the form of a celluloid pin badge. It has a beautiful image of canvasback ducks on the face.

As you can see in the photos, it's very good, but not perfect. There's some fading and such on the face, but the image is clear and sharp. On the back, it has some rust and other signs of age, but everything is still present and nothing is broken.

I think it's really cool this was the way they did your hunting license back in the day. You see other variations with drivers license and other things, but this is one of the most artistic I've seen.
