Bakelite Cowboy Shaped Cigarette Holder Pipe, from about 1930

This is a cute little pipe shaped cigarette holder. It's made of red bakelite in front and creamy marbleized bakelite for the stem. The coolest thing is, the "bowl" is formed in the shape of a cowboy wearing his hat. This one has the shortest stem of any pipe type cigarette holder we've seen, but it fits better than you'd expect. Personally, I wouldn't enjoy smoking a cigarette that close to my eyes, but it was a different time.

There is some variation in the red color of the bowl, but you don't notice this much unless you're really looking for it. Overall, an interesting piece of smoking history.
