This is an excellent example of a type I1 Injector Razor by Schick. These popular vintage razors were produced from 1955 to 1958. Takes standard Schick injector blades, which are still available from Schick and other brands. We feel this razor is New Old Stock because it still has the "shipping blade" installed. This is a special, non-sharp blade Schick put in their new razors so it wouldn't be so hard to load the first real blade.

As you can in the photos, this razor is in very near perfect. Perhaps there's just a hint of a scuff in the gold plating on the back of the head, but that would probably buff out. It still shines like a new penny (a gold plated new penny that is).

The clear plastic of the case has some scuffs and scratches, but it's not as bad as the bright lights and high magnification make it look in the photos. The clasp and hinges still work perfectly, and there are no breaks or cracks. It still looks good and (most importantly), it's done the job of protecting the razor.

I haven't verified if the included blades are correct to the piece, but I don't see any reason to doubt it. They are included for display purposes only. If you want to shave with it, you should purchase new blades.

Super razor for use or display.
