This is a very attractive straight razor. It was made in Germany by the JA Henckels company. There is company history on Henckels everywhere, and this one has the logo style they were using in 1900. The scales are very nice French Ivory, with nice, pronounced veining. It has German silver caps with a nice pattern. On one side, it has two "Twins" logos, with the word "Twins" between them. On the back, it shows J.A. Henckels Twin Works, Solingen Germany.

As you can see in the photos, we think the razor is in very good condition. It is "as found". We only perform a "light clean and sterilize" process on our razors. There are no chips we can see in the blade (with a 10x magnifier), but it does have some patenia, and a small rust spot on the spine.  The blade surface is smooth to the touch. Scales and pins are perfect. However, the German silver caps have a fair amount of greening.

We believe this razor could be returned to service, and is sharp, perhaps almost shave ready. a very nice razor to restore to use, or for display purposes.
