This is an usual vintage model G1 Schick Injector Razor. This type was produced about 1946. Schick stopped making razors during WWII. When they resumed manufacturing, they reissued the old E style razors, but with molded plastic rather than bakelite handles. Meanwhile, the company had changed names. Every other razor we've seen from this period is marked "Eversharp Schick" under the head. However, this one is marked "Schick Injector" like the old E razors. Apparently, they also used up whatever supply of E heads they had on hand when they resumed making the Gs.

As old as it is, it still uses the standard injector blades you can buy in stores today! As you can see, this is a very attractive razor. It has a nice multi-tone marbling effect in the molded plastic handle.

The gold plating is in good condition for the age, but there is some light wear and scuffing on the head. Something more than our standard "light clean and sterilize" process might improve this. Either way, it looks great in your hand.

Overall, this razor looks great and should also work great. Many people think a Schick Injector is the best razor ever made, and the "G" types the best of those. The extra little historical tidbit of it having an incorrect head just adds to the character of it.
