Shawnee "Bambi" Deer Planter from 1940s or 1950s

This is a wonderful ceramic planter produced by Shawnee in the 1940s or 1950s. There are two models. This one with just a fawn, which is sometimes called the "Bambi" planter. The other has a doe and fawn. The planter portion is done in green, with the deer being rendered in a yellow-tan. If there's any flaw in this piece, we can't find it.
