Porter Science Microcraft Microscope Set from 1957

This is a very complete vintage microscope set with metal carry case. It's a Porter Science Microcraft, Microscope Lab Number 216. The outside case looks pretty good. As you can see in the photos, it does have some rust and dirt. However, on the inside, it's really nice. There's a few slots where things are missing, but we can't figure out what it might be. 6 boxes of test materials (The "Feathers" box is empty, and its mounting slot is taped. At least some of the other boxes have material in them.)

The focus knob on the microscope is pretty stiff. It probably just needs some lubrication. Relive those fun years of exploring the world through magnified eyes. There can't be too many more out there like this one.
