Very good example of this vintage novelty Schick Injector Razor. This is a Schick type L2, "Schick Stick" razor. The handle is made to resemble a "stick shift" gearshift of the same era. It was produced around 1966. While it has a unique look, this is still a very functional razor. Some even say the knob at the end of the long handle gives more control. Takes standard Schick style injector blades which are available from a variety of sources in a wide range of brands.
As you can see in the photos, the razor is in great condition. The plating on the head is about perfect. The handle has a neat swirling pattern in the plastic. The paint on the knob could be better. If you have a steady hand, you could improve this with model paint or nail polish. It might look even better with something more than our "light clean and sterilize" process.
Overall a cool looking, highly functional, piece of shaving history.
