Here is a pretty neat little travel razor with case. The razor and case are unmarked, aside from "Made in Germany" on the hinge of the case. It does include two NOS Clauss razor blades, and we think the razor was made by Clauss as well. From the logo styling, etc, we feel the set dates from the 1920's when Clauss was the Henckels-Clauss company, and the US was allowing free import of German goods.

It has a two piece handle, and a two piece head similar to a Gillette "Old Type". When assembled, the razor forms a fairly full size and weight. The case has a nice pattern stamped in the. The razor takes standard Gillette style double edge blades.

As you can see in the photos, both the razor and case are in very good condition. The case has some brassing on the bottom. The blue velvet lining is in amazing condition for the age. The razor appears perfect. However, whether it's a design flaw or damage, the second part of the handle doesn't fit well with the top. You could probably tighten it up if you plan to shave with it. Nice as it is, something more than our standard "light clean and sterilize" process would probably make it look even better.

Very nice razor to use or collect.
