This is an excellent example of a popular Gillette safety razor. It is a Fat Handle Tech. Also known as a Pre-war Tech. They were produced from about 1938 to 1945. This would be an early model as it has the triangular slots under the head. Uses standard Gillette style double edged blades, which can be purchased in a variety of brands in stores on online. It is reported to be a mild shaver, but perhaps slightly more aggressive than the later techs. The fat handle is hollow, so it is not heavy and has a nice balance.

We have the original case, but it's not great. However, it's done the job of protecting the razor. The head and handle are in great shape. There are a few spots of brassing on the blade case. Very nice looking set.

Excellent razor to use or collect.
