SWS Dental Pliers 18L from 1920 or earlier

These antique dental pliers were made by SWS Dental supply. From the construction and condition, we feel they're from the 1920s or earlier, perhaps much earlier. They are marked with "Made in United States of America", the SWS logo, and the 18L model designation.

Enough of the nickel plating is gone to give the pliers a nice patina and show their age. They have a really cool look with the interesting curves and hand carved knurling on the handles. Makes you really grateful for modern methods.
